Renting a cabin? Manage every booking from one place.

Cabintale is cabin booking software for chalets and cottages. Your reservations, your occupancy and your payments sit in one place, in sync with Airbnb and Booking.com, and the repetitive parts run on their own.

This is you

Two people asked for the same weekend. You said yes to both.

  • You keep the bookings in a spreadsheet and in your head
  • You write the same five answers to every enquirer
  • You chase the deposit by bank transfer
  • You don't know what your occupancy actually is
  • Enquiries that land while you're at work go cold

Everything a cabin owner needs
Nothing you don't.

What we take

0%

Commission fee

We charge for the software, not for your bookings. A busy August costs the same as a quiet March, and the guest's money goes straight to you.

No double bookings

Airbnb, Booking.com and your own site all write into the same calendar. One booking anywhere closes the date everywhere within minutes.

Stop chasing deposits

Guests pay by card the moment they book, a deposit or the whole stay. For the ones who phone you instead, send a payment link. Stripe and ČSOB now, more gateways coming.

Three steps to your first booking

1

Set your availability and prices

Summer, winter, weekends: add a season, give it a rate, done. Mark the dates you keep for yourself and your calendar is ready.

2
TripAdvisor Booking.com Airbnb

Connect Airbnb and Booking.com

Copy one link from each of them and paste it into Cabintale. After that, a booking on Airbnb closes the date here, and a booking here closes it on Airbnb.

Put the calendar on your website

You get a short piece of code to paste into your page once, or send it to whoever looks after your website. Everything else on the site stays as it is. No website yet? A Cabintale booking page is coming.

The agents are good at finding new guests.
The second time, they should find you.
We make sure they can book directly.

Mountain Cabin

A booking calendar that lives on your own site

Guests see which weeks are free and what they cost, then book them. No messages back and forth, no waiting for you to answer.

1

Prices on every date

Each date carries its own price, including the higher summer weeks and your weekend rate. Guests see the total for the nights they picked before they book.

2

Your own booking rules

Set a minimum number of nights, Saturday-to-Saturday weeks, or a cut-off a day or two before arrival. The calendar turns down anything that breaks the rule.

3

40+ languages and currencies

Guests read the calendar in their own language and see the price converted into their own currency. Czech, German, English and about forty more.

A booking form that asks what you'd have asked

Your cabin has its own five questions. Put them in the form once and stop typing the answers one message at a time.

1

Instant bookings or requests

Let bookings confirm themselves, or read each one first and decide. You can set it differently for each place, so a busy cabin and a quiet one don't have to work the same way.

2

Ask your own questions

Add the questions you always end up asking anyway: arrival time, pets, how many people, which beds they want made up. The answers arrive with the booking.

3

Matches your website

Light or dark, in colours you choose. You can keep more than one version too, a full calendar for your website and a simpler one for the link in your Instagram bio.

An hourly calendar for the sauna and the kayaks

Not every booking is a night. Services get their own calendar, price and capacity, so the sauna stops living in a second calendar that only you can read.

1

List or timeline

Show the day as a list of times, or as a strip the guest scrolls along. Whichever one fits the page you are putting it on.

2

Prices on every slot

Every slot shows what it costs, so a guest knows the price of 17:00 before they take it. Each service keeps its own prices, separate from the nightly ones.

3

Capacity and blocked hours

Say how many bookings one slot can hold, and block the hours when nobody is there to open up. Guests only ever see what is genuinely free.

Firewood, breakfast and gift vouchers

The extras you currently sell by text message. Put them in the checkout, or sell a voucher on its own to somebody who isn't booking yet.

1

Sell more than nights

Firewood, a breakfast basket, late checkout, an hour in the sauna. Give it a price and guests can add it to the same order as the stay.

2

Voucher codes

Sell a voucher for an amount or for a particular stay. The buyer gets a code, and whoever uses it types it in at checkout and the amount comes off.

3

Import and export vouchers

Sold vouchers on paper or somewhere else already? Bring them in with their codes and what is left on them, and export the whole list when your accountant asks.

Set how many you'd like to buy.

Availability Calendar

Every cabin, chalet or cottage you rent sits in the same calendar, with the price on each date. Guests see what's open and what it costs, they book, the date closes. The evening message thread goes away.

Seasonal Pricing

A week in August is not a week in March. Set the seasons, weekend rates and holiday surcharges once, and the calendar prices the rest of the year without you touching it again.

iCal Synchronization

Two-way iCal with Airbnb, Booking.com, Google Calendar or an agent. A booking on any channel closes the date everywhere within minutes, so you stop cross-checking three calendars before you answer anyone.

40+ Languages & Currencies

Czech guests see Czech, German guests see German, and everyone sees the price in their own currency. Nothing is lost between you and a guest who found you from abroad.

Instant vs. Request Booking

Let bookings confirm themselves, or read each one first and decide. You can set it differently for each place you rent.

Timeslot Calendar

Saunas, kayaks and guided tours, booked by the hour. Each service keeps its own calendar, price and capacity, and your Saturday stops being a switchboard.

Custom Booking Form

Arrival time, pets, deposit, how many people are coming. Ask it in the form and it arrives answered, instead of over four emails.

Guest Management

Every stay and every guest in one place, with what they booked last time. You can email the twelve families who came last July, because that list is yours and not a platform's.

Booking Dashboard

All the bookings from all the channels on one screen, with what's paid and what isn't. This is the part that replaces the spreadsheet you keep in your head.

Built by cabin owners.
For cabin owners.

Cabin ownership runs deep in Czech culture. Families have spent generations escaping to forests and villages, reconnecting with nature and with each other. I own a cabin, rent it out, and live that balance every week.

When we needed a cabin booking system, we tried what existed. Hotel software with the hotel parts switched off. Generic reservation software. A Google Calendar shared with my wife. None of them knew what a season is, how to talk to a Czech guest, or how to be run by one person on a Tuesday evening.

So we built it ourselves.
